57%

Strategy Setups – You Decide

Based on current options data, one setup stands out. Each strategy has different risk/reward characteristics – the final decision is always yours.

Profit Loss $0 Stock Price →
Why this fits today

Bearish flow at 37% with moderate IV (57%) and Max Pain 0.3% from spot – a defined-risk bearish setup with price gravitating toward Max Pain.

Advantages
✓ Defined maximum loss – far safer than a naked short call
✓ Profits from bearish or sideways movement without needing a price collapse
✓ Lower margin requirement than uncovered call selling
Risks
✕ Profit is capped at the net premium collected
✕ A sharp bullish move results in maximum loss on the spread
✕ Strike placement requires balancing premium income vs probability of profit
▶ FAQ: Bear Call Spread
What is a Bear Call Spread?

A Bear Call Spread sells a call at a lower strike and buys a call at a higher strike. The net credit is the maximum profit. It profits when the underlying stays below the short call strike at expiration. It is a defined-risk bearish strategy.

When is a Bear Call Spread the right choice?

A Bear Call Spread suits environments with elevated IV (to collect meaningful premium), bearish flow bias, and a spot price close to Max Pain. The defined risk structure makes it preferable to a naked short call, especially in choppy markets.

All setups above are personal trade journal observations derived from options flow data. This is not financial advice. The decision to trade, and which strategy to use, is entirely yours.
